2024 CEO New Year’s Greeting

Greetings to all,

With the start of the new year, we find ourselves beginning 2024 with great enthusiasm and big goals.

The team at RESTAR Inc. is very thankful for all your support in 2023 and looks forward to continue helping your team drive growth to meet your goals as well.

In this fast changing society, our vision is to facilitate a liquid market for real estate transactions to help society via enabling swift investment decision-making based on data with our platform.

Real estate, includes diverse sectors such as housing, offices, commercial facilities, hotels, healthcare establishments, logistics, and industrial spaces. It continuously evolves to create better environments for all of us and our environment.

In the realm of finance, such as bonds, stocks, and mergers and acquisitions, we have seen established standards for making investment decisions based on extensive information. As a result, transactions have thrived under sophisticated decision-making processes.

On the other hand, in real estate transactions in Japan, information is fragmented across many sources of data: documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDF files, and websites, making the collection, aggregation, analysis, and decision-making process exceptionally challenging.

Therefore, we recognize that there are missed opportunities in the current real estate market. We believe that, similar to financial transactions, establishing a systematic foundation for collecting and aggregating vast amounts of information could encourage more participation in real estate transactions, ultimately leading to increased liquidity in the market.

With this vision in mind and to help our clients, we have developed our “REMETIS” platform.

We manage REMETIS as a dynamic and ever changing platform. For example, to reflect the fast changing needs of our clients, we have released new features last year based on client feedback such as our “needs matching” feature to help our brokerage segment of clients.

Similarly, in 2024, we see further growth in our markets and this will be reflected in our feature releases in this new year and where we will continuously work closely with our clients to further enhance our engineering to further match their needs.

In 2024, we are excited to continue to build our community of clients, partners, and employees.
